Hollenbeck Sr.. of Goderich, formerly of Wingham, passed away at Goderich hospital . on Sunday in his 71st year. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary McQuarrie; by sons, Robert and his wife, Linda, of Wingham and Bill and his wife, Mary Ann, of Goderich; grandchildren, Kelly, Jeff and Kim Hollenbeck; Angela and Kari James. He was predeceased by one daughter; Mary..Lee,Presseati end one brother, Harry Hollenbeck. Service is being held at the McCallum and Palle Funeral Home, Goderich, today (Tuesday) at 1:30, with interment following in Maitland Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Goderich hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Native of Carrick dies at Brampton A native of Carrick Township and former resident of Bluevale, Donald A. Darling of RR 5, Orangeville, died Monday, May 30, at Peel Memorial Hospital, Brampton. He was in his 61st year and death followed an ill- ness of 26 months. Mr. Darling was born in Carrick on June 29, 1927, a son of the late Stanley Darling and Frances New- man. He attended Mildmay Public School, then came to this area in September of 1939, completing his elementary education in Bluevale and attending Wingham High School. He furthered his education at Toronto University and worked as a supervisor for C.N. Rail at Toronto. He retired in January of 1986. Mr. Darling is survived by onesister, Mrs. James (Mary) Levis of Lucknow; three brothers, George, RR 4, Wingham, Jim of RR 1, Erin and Harry of Roseneath; 10 nieces and 12 nephews. He was pre- deceased by one niece, one nephew and one great-nephew. Funeral service was held Thurs- day, June 2, at two o'clock at The McBurney Funeral Horne, Wingham, conducted by Rev. Bonnie Lamble of Bluevale United Church where deceased was a member. Final resting place is Wingham Cemetery. Pallbearers were five nephews, Dan Carnpbell4 Bill Darling, Bob Darling, Brad Campbell and Barry Darling and a friend, Bill Johnston.
