Kindergarten
One day Angela brought a box to
school with soft yellow fuzzy
creatures inside. The box had 12
holes so they could breathe. Can you
guess what they were? They were
baby chicks !

was last Friday and -now we're doing

Day Each child will be inviting a
visitor to the school that morning.

friends are welcome.
The spring edition of Scribble -
Scrabble,' a collection of students'
stories, will be published soon:
Author's Day will be June 16. The
children will be making,.reading and
sharing books with other children in

busy in the middle of electives, a
novel study and preparing many
projects. We have completed' a
French unit on France and are
working on a geography project on
°the South continents, a history
project about the opening of the ,
West and a music project. Last -week
we went to Ottawa. We are working
