DEATHS
McMURRAY — Passed away at
Victoria Hospital, South Street Cam-
pus, on Thursday, May 19, Robert
James McMurray of Lambeth,
formerly of Bluevale, in his 79th
year. He was the beloved husband of
the former Eleanor Hayman; loving
father of Robert of Lambeth, Donald
of Lucknow and Gordon of London;
dear brother of Mrs. Alberta Smith,
St. Thomas and loved by five grand-
children and two great-grand-
children. Funeral service was held
at the McFarlane and Roberts
Funeral Home, Lambeth, on
Saturday, May 21, Rev. Jack Car-
bert officiating. Final resting place
is Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.
BUSINESS BLOCK BURNED
Fire badly damaged a business
block in the village of Wroxeter
October of 1926. The fire started in
the drygoods department of William
Robinson's store and the Robinsons
lost everything as they resided over
the store. They were not at home at
the time. Other losses were suffered
by R. J. Rann, shoe store; Alan
Munroe; J. N. Allen, drug store;
1)avey's store and Bert Martin's
house and blacksmith shop.
