Mrs. Gibson read scripture from Proverbs, then led in prayer She read a -humorous story abott mothers and- Mrs. Hays continue( with two poems, "To My Mother' and "Beattitudes for Mothers". A - springtime hymn was sung and reading, "What a Creation! ", wasi commentary on mothers. Prayer b3 Mrs. Hays closed the worship. As a child in Sackville, Nem Brunswick, she attended Cam' Wegesecum on the St. John Rivet and she has always been intereste( in camping. For two Months each summet Mrs. Hicks is in charge of th( counsellors and the operation of the camp. The activities are centre( around the church and man) programs-Alate to this theme. Mrs, Joy Wylie read the minutes of the last meeting and roll call was answerec with "A Mother of the Bible". A report on the Huron Presbyterial meeting was given and new projects were discussed. The meeting closed with the Mizpah benediction, Lunch was served by Mrs. Betty Dinning and Mrs. Siets deBoer during the social time. MRS. HAZEL GRIFFITH 335-3249 Congratulations to Sherry and Arthur Gibson who were married in Wroxeter United Church on April 23 by Rev. Donald Pugh. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Richer of Win- dermere, B.C„, attended. the wed- ding and the reception in Wroxeter Community Hall. 1V1rs. Margaret Barnard, Hensall, Mr. and Mrs. William Gibson, Listowel, attended the wedding of their nephew, along with Mr. and Mrs. Art Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gibson and Andy of Belmore, Miss Marcia Gibson, London and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Payne, Gerrie. Mrs. Adrien Poirier, Weston, visited last weekend with Mrs. Cliff Marks. The sympathy of' the community is extended to Gordon Gibson on the passing of his sister, Mrs. Dora 46.0:ral Ridley. Mr. and Mrs, Crawford Gibson, Barrie and Mrs. Bonnie MacDougall, Burlington, attended the funeral and the latter remained fora couple of days. Wingham Library News The Wingham Optimist Club has generously loaned three videotapes to the Wingham Library from the TV -Ontario series on 48 different careers. They are available for the usual two-week period and should prove interesting to those wondering about their future.
