Treasure by Clive Cussler
The 'treasure' is the Great
Library and Museum of Alexandria
which was burned in 3914A.D. It was
discovered, however, that the Most
precious part had been saved and
transported by ship to an unknown
land by Roman mercenaries and
slaves. After hiding the treasure
they were attacked by barbarians
and only one small ship escaped. A
total of 1,600 years later, this ship is
discovered frozen in the ice in, a
Greenland' fjord. What follows is
intrigue, suSpense and deception as
the race is on to discover the
whereabouts of the treasure. The
hero, of course, is Clive - Cussler's
green-eyed "super man", Dirk Pitt.
