Teeswater last V!,rednesday and
l'hursday where ;they attended the
class on judging home economics,
conducted by District 10 of Ontario
ASsoctation of Agricultural So-
cieties. Leaders for this were Mrs.
Aieida Murray,. RR 2, Clifford and
Mrs. Delores Shaapton, Exeter.
Mrs. Jean Clarkson and Mrs. red
Klaassen attended the Institute
annual meeting at Moncrief on
Thursday evening. Mrs Klaassen,
who is District president, installed
the officers.
Mr. Raynard's Grade 8 students
from Howick Central School have
entertained the children at the
"Story Hour" at Fordwich Public
Library on Thursday morning for
the last two weeks. They present a
puppet shove, stow and craft.
Mr._ and ' Mrs. Os Harris of
Nobleton spent last weekend with
Sacred Heart
holds last party
of the season
The last -card -;partyr,of: hie Pseason
was held April .26 at Sacred Heart
parish hall, 12 tables in play for a
shoot party.
High lady was Elda Coultes and
high man Marie Merkley, playing as
a man. Low prizes were won by Gert
Reavie and .Dave. Murray. Sara
Anstett had the most shoots and
Marg King won the door prize.
The Catholic Women's League
thanks everyone for their support
throughout the season.

Friends of Elmer Williamson will
be pleased to hear he was able to
return to his home last week after
being a patient for some time in
Palmerston and District Hospital.
His daughter, Mrs. Lenwood Edgar
of Mount Forest, spent several days
with him. ,

the weekend with her father, Don
Montoux,

goes to Mr. and Mrs. Bob Petznick in
the death`of the latter's father, Ira
Schaefer, who passed away Thurs-
day, April 28, in Listowel Memorial
Hospital.
Mrs. Vicky Cox of Lindsay visited
a couple of"days last week with Mr.
and Mrs. Wally Nixon.,.
Mr.and.Mrs. Rocky Barbetta of
Toronto visited Sunday with Mrs.
Alma Hargrave.
Mrs. Mabel Rowley of Palgrave
visited one day last week with Mr.
and Mrs. Stewart Rowley. Mrs.
Clara Watson of Bond Head, who,
had spent a few days at the same

and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lynn in the
death 'Of their mother, Mrs. Dora
Ridley, who passed away Tuesday,
April 26, at Geri -Care. Nursing
Home, Harriston. Funeral service
was held Thursday at, the Gorrie
Chapel of M. L. Watts Funeral
Homes, with interment in Fordwich
Cemetery. Mrs. Ridley ;is also
survived by two sons. Keith of
