project and the girls have worked
s hard so everyone's support is re -
e quested.
. This year the WI District annual
e meeting is on May 30 in Auburn, with
- the Medical Officer of Health to be
, • the guest speaker. There will be a
hall -cleaning bee on Monday, May 9;
members werged-to support this
venture also.,
The meeting adjourned and lunch
was served by Mrs. James and Mrs.
Nicholson. The next meeting will be
a dessert luncheon at 7 p.m. on May
17, with Eleanor Wood of Troy_ as
guest speaker: everyone is
welcome.
Euchre held
in Belgrave
BELGRAVE—Twelve tables were
in play at the weekly euchre party in
the WI hall on Wednesday, April 20.
High -prize winners were Mrs.
Alma Jardine and Clarence Hanna;
low, Mrs. Ronald Coultes and Mrs.
Olive Bolt, the latter playing a
man's card; novelty prizes, Mrs.
Dorothy Telfer and Herb Clayton;
lucky draws, Mrs. Clarence Hanna
and George Inglis.
There will be euchre again
Wednesday, April 27, starting at 8
p.rn. Everyone is welcome.
