T was an excellent opportunity some to purchase their own priv stock of nature's gold, maple sy We had the pleasure of taking some of the, taleat of some of the local people. We enjoyed the singing and playing of music. Overall, it was a wonderful time. We had a tour of the new Belmore seniors' apartments, Bell Haven. The apartments were designed with the special needs of older adults and the disabled in mind. Tours of the building can be arranged and if you are interested in housing for seniors, _ it would be worth your while. We have begun the next step in our ceramics program. Now we are taking time to clean the greenware in preparation for the first firing. The,2 interesting thing about ceramics is that you have no_ idea what the final piece will look like until it comes out of the kiln after the final firing. This week we will have the help of a work -week student from F. E. Madill Secondary School. Rhonda -Bennett is interested in finding out about the operation of a day centre for seniors.
