look after the booth at the park.
The group discussed having the
executive meet with the hall board
to discuss changing the rental rules
re licensing. A motion was made to
offer the park for Sportsfest week-
end in August.
Discussions dealing with Rec Fest
included the liquor licence, renting a
beer tent for the weekend, booking a
disc jockey and hiring a security
guard for the weekend.
The next Rec Fest meeting will be
April, 18 at 8 p.m.. Any volunteers
arewelcome to attend.
Congratulations to the Bluevale
Brewers' hockey team for its suc-
cessful first -place finish in the
league.
Discussion at April's meeting
centred around baseball and the up-
coming Rec Fest weekend, There
are now four minor ball teams in
Bluevale. The Belgrave and
Bluevale Squirt boys will combine to
make a team. It was decided that
another set of uniforms will be
purchased for the Squirt girls' team,
as well as the two Mite teams. A
Mite boys' coach is still needed.
Other business dealing with ball,
was the decision to change all 10
lamps at the ball park this year.
