Wilts Township•ceintell has paid
its $4,000 1986 grant to the Brussels,.
Morris and Com •ity Centre
Board, as well as $1;000 it had
deferred from the 1987 payment. -
Council alsosent a letter* thanks

allowing the township to defer
paying $1,000 of its $4,000.1987 grant

At a recent official boardmeeting
of the Wingham United Church, it
was decided to ask the congregation
to respond to several , recom-
mendations included in a con-
troversial report which will be
presented to the United Church
general council in August at Vic-
toria, B.C.
°Considerable time was spent at
the board Meeting in discussing the
controversial report, Rev. J. Rea
Grant said, before the board decided
to make printed copies of the
recommendations available to the
congregation at a, Sunday service,
and to ask for a yes or no response
by ballot the following week.
The results will then be forwarded
to the Huron -Perth Presbytery
Mitch meets later this month at
Grand Bend.
