newly -organized Wingham and Area Soccer League. The t' ling program included this aerobics drill -led
by Carol Whitely and soccer instruction by Ted Kotsani.s veno will coach the league's Peewee club. In
addition to the Pee Wees, who will play exhibition games against other teams in the area, .house league
competition will be featured, hopefully, for almost all age levels.
Festival)plans arefinaiized
Plans for the Midwestern Ontario
Rotary Music Festival, being held
April 27 to May 7 in Walkerton, are
now being finalized by the festival
executive.
Production Chairman Ron Gibson
and his wife, Jean, have begun the
monumental task of organizing
volunteers from the community for
each of the five festival halls.
"We need abut250 volunteers to be
at - admission -desks and toact as
platform marshals, adjudicators'
secretaries and door marshals for
morning, afternoon and evening
sessions," Mr. Gibson said. "No
experience is necessary and each
job is briefly outlined with a , time
allotted that will work with the
volunteer's schedule. I may toe

The Midwestern Ontario Rotary
Music Festival. is -:-becoming. well-
established: in the community and as
a result,, the' performing and teach-
ing standards have risen through
performance experience and the
objective and constructive criticism
of adjudicators. Volunteers have
become familiarwith festival
procedure and tate•--public has
discovered a vast amount,of talent in
the numerous communities at-
tending the festival and have
learned to appreciate many types
and styles of music.
