Mary Scott was' rn Sept. 22, 1916,
in Morris Township, a daughter of
the late William J. Scott and Norma.
McKague. She received her educa-
tion at SS No. 7, Morris (Stone
School). A member of St. Andrew'E
Presbyterian Church, she resided or
Wingham's Diagonal Road for many
years before becoming a resident 01
Brookhaven a few years ago.
Though life was not always kind to
Mary, she brought to her struggles a
positive and cheerful attitude which
was an inspiration to -her farnily and
many friends. She will be missed by

Friends paid their respects at The
McBurney Funeral Horne, Wing,
ham, on Friday. Complete funeral
service was held at the funeralhome
at 1.30 on Saturday, conducted by
Rev. John P. Vaudry. Final resting
place will be Wingham Cemetery.

for Mary Lou Hopper
Funeral service was held Thurs-
day, March 24, at two o'clock at The
McBurney Funeral Home, Wing -
ham, for Miss Mary Lou Hopper of
60 Carling Terrace, Wingham. Rev.
J, Rea Grant of the Wingham United
Church, where Mary Lou was a
member, conducted the complete
service, with interment to follow in
Wingham Cemetery.
Mary Lou passed away Tuesday,
March 22, at London's St. Joseph's
Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was in her 29th year. Born . in
Wingham on Sept. 17,1959, she was a
daughter of Juanita (Irwin) Hopper

of Wingham and the late Clare
Hopper. She received her education
at the Wingham Public School and
F. E. Madill Secondary School.
Left to mourn besides her mother
are one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Jean)
Gower of RR 1, Melbourne; two
brothers, Charles and Kenneth
Hopper, both of Wingham; her
grandmother, Viola Irwin of
Belmore; one nephew, Kenny Gower
and one niece, Candy Gower. She
was predeceased by her grand-
parents, Charles and Florence
Hopper and Roy Irwin.
dies in Kitchener hospital
A former resident of Wingham,
where she resided on Patrick Street
for many years, Mrs. Margaret
Eleanor Anger, widow of the late
George H. Anger, passed away
Saturday, March 19, at St. Mary's
General Hospital, Kitchener. She
was in her 80th year and in recent
years had resided on Belmont
Avenue in the city of Kitchener. She
was a member of -Highland United
Church, Kitchener.
Mrs. Anger was the former
Margaret Wright and was born' in
Detroit on Dec. 23, 1908. Her parents
were the late Mr. and Mrs. George
Wright. Her husband predeceased
her in 1977 and also predeceased are
three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her family:
Katherine and Andrew Hurska,
Mable and Borden Culbert, all of
Michigan; Betty Christie of
Wingham; Mildred and Robert
Barclay of Wisconsin; Barbara and
Lee Bennett of Saskatchewan; Carol
and Donald Kuzuk, Diana and
Richard Strype, all of Kitchener.
There are 18 grandchildren; five t
great-grandchildren and one c
brother, Leonard Wright of
Michigan.
