—The "Country Living" section of
The Toronto Star on March 17,
carried a feature article on former
Wingham resident, Debra Grose.
About six years ago she moved to
a country home near a private lake
at Uxbridge, which is a small town
northest i Toronto.
Asked in the interview how she has
adjusted to her change in lifestyle
she said, "I wouldn't give it up and
move back into the city for any-
thing." In fact! she is SO enthused
about country living that she found-
ed a consunier show, Country decor-
ating. and Collectibles to entice
others to the trend toward folk art
and cotmtry-sytie decorating.

China House
players have
a busy month
The Wingham Great China House
PeeWee 13' team has had a busy
schedule since losing out in playoff
action against the Walkerton Wyatt
team.
The local lads also had the
misfortune to lose the help of Mike
Tiffin when he suffered a broken
wrist in that game. Although he is off
the ice for the remainder of the
season, he has been much in
evidence at every game helping the
coach from the bench. Good work,
Mike.
Following the playoffs, the Great
China House team has been busy
playing exhibition games, losing
three and winning three. The boys
lost two games to Blyth by 7-6 and 3-2
counts and lost one game to Brussels
7-4.
However, the team beat out its
rivals from playoff action, Lucknow,
by a 4-1 score and defeated Mount
Forest 7-5. The boys also avenged
their earlier loss to Brussels by
defeating that team 7-4.
The Great China House squad has
a tournament in Walkerton this
weekend, an exhibition game in
Henan on Wednesday and will play
the "dads" on Tuesday. It promises
to be a busy week for the Wingham
boys.
Good luck to the fathers on
Tuesday as the boys have been
practising all year so they can hand
the "old folks" some nice checks,
