Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener,
on Saturday, March 19, Mrs.
Margaret E. Anger of Kitchener,
formerly of Wingham, in her 80th
year. The former Margaret Wright,
she was the beloved wife of the late
George H. Anger; dear mother of
Katherine- and Andrew Hurska,
Mabel and Borden Culbert, all of
Michigan; Betty Christie of
Wingham; Mildred and . Robert
Barclay of Wisconsin Barbara and
Lee Bennett of Saskatchewan; Carol
and Donald Kuzuk and Diana and
Richard Strype, all of Kitchener;
brother 'Leonard Wright of
Michigan. Also surviving are'18

grandchildren. She was predeceased
by three sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Alex Petrie of Wroxeter
passed away in Wingham and
District Hospital on Saturday,
March 12, at the age of 84 years.
Surviving besides her husband are
one sister, Blanche Elliott of
Listowel and two brothers, Andrew
Hoopper of Whitehorse, The Yukon
and Alfred Hooper of British
Columbia. She was predeceased by
two sisters, Gladys and Ethel.
Funeral service will be conducted
this afternoon (Tuesday) at two
o'clock at. the Gorrie Chapel of M. L.
Watts Funeral Homes, Rev. Brenda
Shipton officiating. Spring in-
terment will take place in Wroxeter
Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace Agar was
former Wingham resident
A former resident of the town of
Wingham, Mrs. Wallace Agar,
passed away at Huronview, Clinton,
on Monday, March 14. She was in her
90th year and had been in failing
health since suffering a stroke eight
years ago.
Mrs. Agar was the former Freda
Jane Turvey and was born in Morris
Township on March 5, 1899. Her
parents were the late William
Turvey and Henrietta Mustard. She
attended school in Morris Township
and on Nov. 21, 1923, she married
Mr. Agar in Morris Township. They
farmed together in Morris Township
until 1950 when they retired to
Wingham. They were members of
the Wingham United Church.
Mrs. Agar. was bereaved by the
death of her life partner in 1977. She
is survived by their family: Leila
and Charles Hay of Hensall; Shirley
