DELMAGE—In loving memory of a
dear husband, father and grand-
father, Don Delmage, who passed
away March 18,1981.
As time'unfolds another year
Memories keep you ever near,
Silent thoughts of times together
Hold memories that will last for-
ever.
—Sadly missed and always re-
membered by wife Florence and
family.
MeALLISTER—In loving memory
of a dear wife and mother, Velma
McAllister, who passed away three
years ago, 1Vlarch 26, 1985.
Though her smile is gone forever
And her hands we cannot touch,
We have so many memories
Of the one we loved so much.
Her memory is our keepsake
With which we'll never part,
God has her in His keeping
And we have her in our hearts.
—Sadly missed and deeply loved
by husband Lorne and family.

Safety program
is introduced
in. Bruce schools
This marks the ninth year the
Bruce County Board of Education
has sponsored a farm safety
program for all elementary schools
in thecounty.
The three co-ordinators, Judy
Posthumus, Gail Johnson and
Wayne Morrow, will be visiting the
schools between March 21 and April
25 to make presentations to each
class, as well as a general presen-
tation to each division.
Topics being highlighted this year
areas follows:
Kindergarten — care and safety of
wild and domesticate animals;
Prilnary (Grades 1 10 3) — safety
attitudes and general farm hazards
and water safety around farm
ponds, ditches and during spring
break-up;
Junior (Grades 4 and 5 — hazards
of recreational activities and safety
in operation of all -terrain vehicles;
Intermediate (rural schools) —
the human factor and machinery
hazards.;
Urban schools — the human factor
and safety with lawnmowers, power
tools and snowblowers, as well
hazard; around large machinery. n
The number of farm accidents in
Ontario has declined steadily in
repent years. One of the main in-
fluencing factors has been a greater
awareness of the many bazar*,z that
exist on farms.
