sorry to hear she hadthe Misfortune
to break her arm as the result of a
snowmobile accident last' weekend.
She was taken to Listowel Memorial
Hospital where her arm was put in a
cast.
Congratulations to Gary and
Joanne Schumacher of Kitchener,
formerly of this area, on the birth of
their daughter on Friday, Feb. 26, at
St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener; also
to Bill and Debbie Brown on the
birth of a daughter on Feb. 16 at
Hanover and District Hospital.

FORDWICH — After a bountiful
potluck dinner, the March meeting
of the senior citizens opened with a
few verses read from the 12th
chapter of St. Matthew's ,Gospel and
the singing of "0 Canada". "Happy
Birthday" was sung to three
members. Roll call was answered by
the ladies telling their full maiden
names aot the men telling'about the
first caii they drove.
The group will visit the Fordwich
Village Nursing Home in. October.
They will hold another Potluck
dinner at the April meeting on the

The program 'opened with a Poem •
written by the late Harvey Spoiling
and read by Mrs. Etta bietz. Mrs.
Geiger told about some things that
can be accomplished in three
minutes in this fast world, especially
by the young people.
Mrs. Linda Brimblecombe, the
guest speaker, gave a rundown on.
upcoming trips. A beanbag game
tested the members' •pitching skills.
The remainder of,the,afternoon was
