in Hamilton. Mrs. Nicholson visited

at weekly euchre
BELGRAVE—Seven tables were
in play at the weekly euchre party in
the WI Hall on Feb. 24.
Prizes for high scores went to Mrs.
Iona McLean and George Inglis;
low, Mrs. Mary Chamney and Mrs.
Mabel Wheeler (playing as a man).
Mrs. Lewis Stonehouse and George
Johnston had the most lone hands
and lucky draw winners were Mrs.
Jean Pattison and Ross Taylor.
There will be euchre again

New officers installed
at Belgrave service.
'BELGRAVE--A service of in-
stallation was held Sunday morning
in Knox United Church to install
Kenneth Procter, Robert Grasby
and Mrs. George Procter as newly -
elected members of the Board of
Stewards and Harold Vincent,
Murray Scott and Lorne Campbell
as members of the session. All stood
as they declared their willingness to
serve, then Rev. John G. Roberts
welcomed each to the accepted
office. The congregation rose to
acclaim its support for them.
The minister chose scripture from
I Corinthians, chapter 12, related to
leadership, as the theme of his
message. He stated that there are
varieties .of gifts: administering,

Wingham GoodTimers travelled
to Milverton for a one -day tour-
nament and after the smoke had
cleared, found themselves with a
cheque and trophy as consolation
finalists.
In other action, the GoodTiniers
played host to. Ayton in a well -
played, clean contest which saw
Wingham emerge with a 5-3 victory.

leadership. No one is excluded; each
church member receives a call to
serve.
He referred to'St. Paul, saying he
was "a dedicated servant, just as
each of us must be". He, also said
that everything a servant has to
offer is a gift from the Holy Spirit.
The service concluded with a
dedication hymn. The choir sang
"Thy Perfect Love", with organ
accompaniment by Mrs. George
Procter.

Bush to see how well the sap is
running. If the temperature stays

we will have a nice visit to the bush
in co-operation with the Maitland
Valley Conservation Authority
which governs the programs held at
Maple KeYB,
