The Pepsis are 9n top with 63
points, followed by -the Sprites at 61.
The Lemon Limes have 57; Moun-
tain Dews 48; Cokes 41 and Hires 30.
Dana Mathers had high single of
182 but Kendra. Merkley edged her
out for double honors with her 324.
Jeremy Hickey had top numbers for
the guys, with a 187 single and 369
double,

JUNIORS & SENIORS
The Maniacs are in first place with
e 27 points, the Merry Mishaps not far
behind at 25. The Stooges have 21
and the Rams 11.
Nicole O'Neil recorded the high
single of 163 and high triple of 431 for
the -gals. It was Danny 14icPherson's
day for the guys, a 212 single and 608
triple placing him at the top.

Mustangs 7-4
Last Monday night, the first -place
Crawford Dodgers squared off
against the second -place Bridge
Motors Mustangs in Wingham
Industrial Hockey League action.
The Mustangs started strongly
opening up a quick 2-0 lead on goals
by Caslick, and Purves. However,
the Dodgers fought back to defeat
the Mustangs by a final count of 7-4.
Last Tuesday night's action saw
the Stainton Spitfires and the
Advance -Times Newsboys play off.
Stainton's jumped into an early 2-0
lead on -goads by Phil Beard.
However. the Newsboys tied the
game early in the third period.
Rick Jacklin potted the winning
goal for Stainton's on a screened
shot. from the point._..
With one week left to go in the
regular season, Crawford's have
clinched first place with 20 points.
Stainton's now have secured second
with 14 points, Bridge Motors fall to
third place with 12 points and the
Newsboys with 11 points.

Nuggets team
hosts Belmore
in consolation
The Wingham Kentucky Nuggets
Novice "B" team recently hosted
Belmore in the first game of the
consolation round and will play in
Belmore this Wednesday at 6:30
p.m.
In last week's game, Trevor
Huffman opened the scoring for
Wingham late in the first period.
In the second frame, Jamie Good
scored, assisted by John Martin and
Paul Machan to give the Nuggets a
2-0 lead.
However, in the third period,
Belmore's Greg Weber scored,
assisted by Brad Metcalfe.
Wingha 's David Laing then
scored, assisted by Huffman, to give
Winghani a 3-1 lead.
Behnore's Metcalfe scored two
quick markers ,to tie the match
'before Huffman and Laing joined
forces to score two goals for
Wingham and increase the see to
5-3.
Machan then scored, unassisted,
followed by a goal by Laing and -
finally Ryan Robinson lit up the
scoreboard for the 8-3 final for
Wingham. Huffrnan recorded two
