goals. Mark Fraser added to the
cause as he stopped the Chesley
shooters on several occasions when
the sore was close.
The two teams battled through a g
scoreless first period. However, t
Howick managed to score three
goals in the second frame to leave a
the ice with a 3-0 lead. Howick s

ing home six unanswered goals.
Henhoeffer led the scoring attack
for Howick with four goals, while Li

Henhoeffer scored his second
onsecutive hat trick with three
goals and Philip Livermore scored
he other two goals. Reichard had
three assists at he set up Livermore

coring chances.
Other assists in the game went to
Gibson and Philip Livermore with
two each. Andrew Weber and Don

Philip Livermore took a perfect pass
from Gibson infront of the net for
the insurance marker that sealed
the championship win. Greig also
assisted on the goal. The finalscore
was 5-3 for Howick.
Once again Fraser played a strong
game in the Howick net.
At the conclusion of the game,
Howick's Rob Van Den Broek
received the Murray Grant
Championship Trophy on _behalf of
the Howick team.
RON'S ROUND -UP --- A highlight
of the Paisley tournament was the
fine defensive play of Jason
Jacobson. He was not on the ice for
one opposition goal in three games
as he took a regular shift and also
killed penalties.
Howick meets Elma-Logan in the
first round of OMHA. playoffs.
However, no dates had been set at
press time.

six wins and a plus of 40. Ivan
Gardner and Lerne Hamilton both

Jim Wickens of Wingham and
Grant Wall, Coburg, were third with
four wins and a plus of 28. Harold
Carter of Goderich adn Fred
Wickens, Kitchener, had fourth spot
wrapped up with three wins and a
plus of 75.
Alex Boa of Goderich and John
Wickens, Goderich, were fifth with
two wins and a plus of 102.
Grant Wall was the lucky winner
`of the 50-50 draw. The next Saturday
tournament is Feb. 20 at 1 p.m.
