The Huron County Library Board
wants county council to provide
$25,000 in its 1988 budget to assist in
computerization of the county
library system.
The request was ineligkx1 in the
board's report to the- regular
January session of Huron County
Council. In addition, thereport also
recommended that the county
library remain a member of the
Ontario Library Consortium which,
according to acting chief librarian
Sharon Cox, is n ongoing effort to
pool resources of various libraries to
develop computer systems.
The county system must start
getting some of its own computers,
