Mrs. John Burchill was
former school teacher
A former school teacher and resi-
dent
esident of Cuirass Township for many
years, Mrs. John S. Burchill passed
away Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Stratford
General Hospital. She was in her
93rd year.
Mrs. Burchill, the former Mary G,
Currie, was born in East Wawanosh
Township on Fell. 24, 1895, a
daughter of the late John Currie and
Jennie Anderson. She received her
elementary education at Lower
Wingham and at Currie's School,
then attended Wingham High School
and Stratford Teachers' College. She
taught at Kirton's School, Turnberry
Township. In later years she worked
in the kitchen of Wingham and
District Hospital until her
retirement. She lived in Wingham
for several years before going to
reside at Pinecrest Manor,.
Lucknow.
Mrs. Burchill was a ineanberof St.
Andrew's. Presbyterian Church,
Wingham, and as long as her health
permitted, an active member of t. •

McBurney ,' Funeral Home,
Wingham, until Friday when

conducted at 1:30 by Rev. John P.
Vaudry. Final resting place will be
Wingham Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were three
grandsons, Jim Bryce, Don Bryce
and Gavin Burchill and three
nephews, Robert Burchill, Robert
McKague and Kenneth McKague.

Jan. 10, ate.Wingliaan and District
Hospital, ,George -Hugh Anger' of
Copeland Lodge,- Wingham, in his
97th - year.. He was the beloved
husband of ;Lulu (Collins) Anger,
dearfather of Norman and Josie
Anger and Bruce and Rose Anger,
all of Wingham, Florence and Glen
McLean of Hanover. There are Hine
grandchildren and 12 . great-grand-
children. He was predeceased by
five hrOthers and two greatigrand-
chddren, Tara and . on - Anger.

4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
Funeral service will be held in the

Harriston, on Monday, Jan. 4, two

FENTON--Miss Sherrie Lee Fenton
of Belgravepassed away in her
sleep on Dec. 30 in her 20th year. She

nephews and two nieces. She was
predeceased by one baby brother,

grandparents. Miss Fenton was a
graduate of . East Wawanosh Public
School and F. E.Madill Secondary
School. She was employed by The
Olde Mill at Blyth. Funeral -service
was held Sunday, . aa, 3, at the
Tasker 'Funeral Home, Blyth. Final
resting place will be Ebenezer
