The formation of a citizens' ad-
visory committee to assist- in
management planning for Bruce
Peninsula National Park and its
marine component, Fathom Five
National Park. has been announced
by J. C. Christakos, Environment
Canada's director-general. .
The . management: planning
committee will be responsible for
advising the park superintendent in
the preparation and implementation
Mrs. Lyda Reidt spent a week over
Christmas holiday with Bob and
Shirley Mowbray and family,
Cambridge.
Sunday guests at the home of Scott
and Pauline McLennan were Charlie
and Mossie Jones, Wingham, ac-
companied by their son, George and

from Scotland. .

management plans.
Organizations, representing -a
wide variety of interests at the local,
provincial and national levels will be
represented.
The 270 -square kilometre Bruce
Peninsula National Park andits
marine component were officially
established by A federal -provincial
agreement signed July 20,1987.
Under the agreement, Environ-
ment Canada is expected tecommit
up to $14, million over the next 10
years.
It is expected that the committee
will hold its inaugural meeting at
Tobermory in late January 1988.

Farm -Start aids
BELGRAVE — Belgrave Christ-
mas carols resounded on Christmas
Eve from Knox United Church, pre-
sented in an organ -cornet prelude by
Mrs. George Procter and her daugh-
ter, Jennifer. A capacity congrega-
tion of members from Knox United
and Calvin -Brick, accompanied by
their families, relatives and 'friends
attended. • ,-
The sanctuary , was tastefully
decorated with poinsettias, red roses
in brass vases, lighted tapers in two
candelabra and a tree aglow with
color and 1ghts. A white bud vase
containing red and white flowers
with greenery adorned each win-
dowsill. '
Rev. John G. Roberts gave the call
to worship., and conducted the ser-
vice. Following the singing of the
All Ye Faithful", the minister lit the
fifth Advent and Christmas candle
as remained standing. The "
printed service of carols and
PraYers Was followed unannounced
until, mid -point when Mr. ,Roberts
interrupted it to express his ap-
