This short course will deal with the basic
principles necessary when setting up a
family budget. Topics include: financial
assessment, financial, planning, sample
budgets, resources, credit and debt
management, credit ratings and bank-
ruptcy.

This course will be of interest to women
who want to work but don't know what to
get into, and to women who are working
and want to switch occupations and/or
move ahead. The sessions will provide
the opportunity for self -appraisal, explo-
ration of occupations and the drafting of
career plans.

Woodworking For Women - 4010280 S
This is a practical course to provide stu-
dents with basic woodworking skills and
a fundamental knowledge of the safe op-
eration and use of tools and equipment
used in woodworking. Sudents will
choose from a variety of project draw-
ings available. Cost of materials is not
included in course fees.
Safety will be emphasized throughout
the course. Students will be expected to
provide their own safety glasses. Leath-
er footwear must be worn. In addition,
hearing protection is recommended.
Students will require a note pad, pencils,
and a tape measure at their first class,
as well as the safety equipment spe-
cified above.

Wellness means attaining and maintain-
ing one's potential in all ares of emotion-
al, physical, mental and spiritual health.
In this course, women will have the op-
portunity to explore such issues as per-
sonal relationships, work and self, and
learn how to assume greater control
over these aspects of their lives in order
to make changes which will lead to total
wellbeing.
Students will discover how to function at
a high level of personal energy, be cre-
ative and expressive, feel centered and
at peace with themselves, and achieve
ongoing personal growth.
