Introduction - 2050040 A
Prerequisites: Introduction to Typewrit-
ing H and Grade 10 or Level 111 English.
In this course, the student learns how
to use transcribing equipment in order
to process words from the dictation
machine to the typewritten page. The
student learns to transcribe an accu-
rate copy having a simple format.

Prerequisite: Machine Transcription - In-
troduction. This course further develops
the skills acquired in the introductory
course by providing additional machine
transcription practice in a wide variety of
drill material. The student will acquire
the skills required for employment in the
position of Secretary -Machine Tran-
scription.

This is an in-depth practical course in
medical dictation and transcription de-

The Complete Receptionist - 2050060
A
This is a basic course which focuses on
the role of the office receptionist. The
importance of a good company image,
dealing with callers by telephone, and in
person, using the telephone, handling
mail, are topics included in this course.
