Prerequisite: Photography - The Basics
This course will providestudents with an
opportunity to learn and practice ad-
vanced techniques. The course includes
practical assignments and critiquing
sessions. Demonstrations by the instruc-
tor and practice in class will help stu-
dents understand the operation of their
equipment. Students should bring a 35
mm camera (filters optional) with man-
ually adjustable aperture and shutter
speeds and film to class.

Prerequisite: Advanced Photography or
permission of instructor.
The aim of this course is to help the stu-
dent to understand that the creation of
pictures and images is limited only by
the imagination of the photographer. The
student will learn to visualize and then
capture the image created in his/her
mind with a camera.

Colour theory and Its practical applica-
tions will also be explored. Colour print-
ing by Ektx Process will be demon-
strated and some practical experience
will be offered at the Doon Campus.

Fine Art Photography Workshop -

A workshop designed for persons who
have previous introductory photography
training, intended to explore and devel-
op the individual's personal image mak-
ing.
Over a period' of one- month, the class
will meet each \Saturday to print, review
and critique work in progress.
Students should arrive prepared to begin
black -and white printing and may expect
to, during the course of the month, com-
plete a small portfolio of photographs.

Portrait And Wedding

Prerequisite: Photography - The Basics
and Advanced Photography or have an
equivalent in practical experience.
Who should attend? Persons with skilled
camera techniques who want to produce
portraits of their family and friends. Top-
ics include: the effects of lighting and
shadow, how to pose the subject and
how to create a setting which reflects the
mental image of the subject. In addition
to portraits, outdoor portraiture and
Wedding Photography will be included.

Bank Training/Teller Duties -

This course teaches the basic duties of a
bank teller. It includes running and
balancing of cash, how to sell the bank's
services (including money orders, certi-
fied cheques), U.S. transactions, Cana-
da Savings bonds, different banking ac-
counts and travellers cheques. Stu-
dentswill learn about these services from
the viewpoint of both the customer and
the teller. Prerequisite is a good knowl-
edge of Mathematics, approximately
Grade 10.

student to the fundamentals of Book-
keeping. After refreshing your knowl-
edge of the fundamentals of arithmetic,
you will proceed to the topics of Book-
keeping.
Topics include: Calculator Operation;
Terminology; Sales Journal and Cash
Receipts Journal; Purchases; Accounts
Payable and Cash Payments Journals;
The General Ledger and Posting; Con-
trol Accounts and Subsidiary Ledgers;
Payroll Records; Cash Control; Bank Re-
conciliation and Petty Cash.
