Techniques In Thinking And
Problem Solving - 2030150 A
The purpose of Techniques in Thinking
and Problem -Solving is to improve the
quality of the choices we make, in busi-
ness and career, as well as in our per-
sonal lives. This is done by presenting
and practicing the exercises in thinking
and problem -solving developed by Ed-
ward de Bono, an internationally -known
consultant in practical thinking. These
exercises stimulate and develop our
physical powers. In this course we will
practice about a dozen such exercises,
in order to focus our attention on: design
and invention techniques, finding alter-
natives, creative thinking, constructive
argument, the role of emotion, decision-
making and strategies for action.
