Principles Of Quality Assurance

The purpose of this course is to present
the principles of the quality functions in-
volved in quality assurance, and how
they benefit business and industry. The
quality functions are examined in detail
to enable the user to select and imple-
ment those that are appropriate. Empha-
sis will be given to the theory of self con-
trol, motivation for quality and the cost of
quality. The principles and implementa-
tion of quality audit; vendor relations,
customer relations, measurement con-
trol, control of non -conforming materials
and corrective action will be studied.
The control of variables will be related to
management, operator and systems
dominant concepts. The students will be
provided with working examples of quali-
ty functions in the industry to -day and be
involved in discussions and home as-
signments to improve skills.

Although the three Introduction to Real
Estate courses are designed for people
wishing to become registered to sell real
estate, they are open to anyone desir-
ing a basic knowledge of the real
estate industry.
You may attend courses on a part-time
basis or on an intensive 6 hour per day
basis. To qualify to write the examina-
tion, 70% attendance is required in each
segment of the course.
Introduction To Real Estate - 2190010
SEGMENT 1 is a general introductory
course containing 10 sessions. The ma-
terial is of such a nature that it will at
once provide information for the public
and information related to the real estate
business for potential registrants. The
course is 30 hours in length.

tuition fees. The administration fee for
each segment will be $20 (certified
cheque or money order only) and will be
payable to the Ontario Real Estate Asso-
ciation at the time of the examination.
The tests at the end of each segment re-
quire a pass mark of 75%. Students who
do not achieve this mark will have one
opportunity to rewrite.
REFUNDS: In the Real Estate Pre -Regis-
tration Program Intensive Courses, each
3 -hour session is deemed to equal one
class. Therefore you must request a re-
fund before the seventh hour of class be-
gins, should you decide to withdraw
from the course.

and could lead to real estate broker
qualification. Courses may be taken in
any. sequence.
The mandatory 40 hour courses Princi-
ples of Appraisal, Principles of Mort-
gage Financing, and Real Property
Law.
Candidates must take one of the follow-
ing 40 hour elective courses which are
offered from time to time at Doon. I.C. &
I. Real Estate, Recreation and Agricul-
tural, Property Management and Rural
Real Estate. Prior to licencing as a bro-
ker, there is an additional cuurse re-
quirement set by the Ontario Rea' Estate
Associatiod.
REFUNDS: Each 4 hour session is
deemed to equal one class. Therefore,
you must request a refund before the
ninth hour of class begins, should you
decide to withdraw from the course.

STATIONARY ENGINEERING
Stationary Engineering - 4th And
3rd Class
Practical training together with success-
ful completion of the modular examina-
tions and the regular steam time will re-
sult in 4th and/or 3rd Class Stationary
Engineering certificates. The intent is to
offer practical and theoretical courses
each .term depending upon demand. A
minimum of Academic Upgrading Level
III or Grade 10 is required. All entrants
seeking certification will make their own
arrangments to write the examinations
specified by their local Skills Develop-
ment Branch.Adults who are not current-
ly working in the field but wish to en-
hance their employability in the area may
participate.
Most of the required texts will be avail-
able the first evening for the registered
