Ultrasonics - Level I - 4430140 Prerequisite: None This is a basic course in ultrasonics which will familiarize the student with the theory of ultrasonic testing and itspracti- cal applications. Classroom training for certification is in accordance with the Canadian General Standards Board. (48 -GP -7M). Ultrasonics - Level II - 4430150 Prerequisite: Ultrasonics Level 1 or certification to the Canadian Govern- ment Specification Board Level I in Ultrasonics or equivalent experience satisfactory o the instructor. This course is specifically directed to the person whose work requires that he be able to interpret the results of an ultra- sonic test and ensure that the test is per- formed in accordance with applicable codes and standards. INSURANCE INSTITUTE OF ONTARIO These courses are designed to meet the needs of those persons employed by the insurance industry in the areas of Agen- cy, Claims, Marketing and Management. They also meet the educational require- ments of the Insurance Institute of Ontar- io. Successful completion of twelve cours- es, six of which are obligatory, will quali- fy a person for the designation, Associ- ate of the Insurance Institute of Canada (A.I.I.C). The College does not offer all courses each semester, but rather, a se- lection of courses to meet perceived needs and to ensure that students may achieve A.I.I.C. designation in a reason- able time. Insurance Courses are ca- tegorized as Obligatory, General, Marine orAccountancy. Courses from the latter two categories are not being offered at present due to lack of demand. INSURANCE INSTITUTE OF ONTARIO FEES: These fees are not included in the tuition fees charged by the College. The collection of Insurance Institute of Ontar- io membership fees and examination fees is the responsibility of the Institute. The amount of such fees; the member- ship requirement to write examinations, 22 the time and location of examinations and any other pertinent insurance Insti- tute information will be provided as each class starts. Note: 1. Principles and Practice of Insurance must be taken as the first course. 2. Organization Accounts and Finance must be taken as the last course or in conjuction with the eleventh course. 3. The fee charged includes a $5 sur- charge payable to the Conestoga Chapter of the Insurance Institute of Ontario. Automobile Insurance (Obilgatory) - 2150010 The design of the course provides an in- depth knowledge of the various kinds of automobile policies, including the stan- dard auto policy, drivers, garage, non - owned vehicles, application for automo- bile insurance, the actual policy and possible endorsements.
