Memorial Hall. Sweaters
and children's clothing were
on display and a makeup
demonstration was also held.
Rev. George Ball of Mil-
verton Was in the village on
Friday, visiting some of his
congregation.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin
left Saturday morning on a
tour to Niagara Falls to view
the lights and enjoy a
program on the American
side before returning home
Sunday night.
Bill Bushell of Teeswater
visited Saturday with Mr.
and Mrs. Victor Emerson
and Mr. and Mrs. Russell
Chapman.
Mr. and Mrs. Relison
Falconer of Sarnia brought
Mrs. Robert Mowbray home
on Friday, returning home
on Saturday.
Mrs. Wesley Tiffin and
Mrs, Isobel Tiffin of Luck -
now were Saturday after-
noon visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. V. Emerson.
The village is really
snowed in as this is being
written on December 2. Cars
have been travelling on the
highway which has been
cleared by the snowplow but
shovels will have to be out to
clear the doorsteps.
Miss Karen Beecroft of
Kitchener spent the weekend
with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. E. W. Beecroft. Visitors
on Sunday at the Beecroft
home were their son, Ronald
Beecroft, Kevin, Shannon
and Heather, Sharon' Werth
and Ken Sinnamon, all of
Wingham.
Whitechurch Women's
Institute will hold its
Christmas meeting at the
Wingham United Church on
Wednesday, December 11, at
12 noon, beginning with
dinner and meeting after.

Sunday School attendance

in the Presbyterian Church
at 10 o'clock until their
Christmas concert on the
evening of December 22.

Sunday a pot luck dinner was
held after the church ser-
