Friends re happy that Gordon R. told, who was at Clinton ublic Hospital for tests, h s received word he need not return to the hospital until next March. This community extends sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Amos Martin and family in the passing on Monday, October 28, off his mother, Mrs. Cyrus Martin„ 78, at her home in Floradale. Sympathy is extended from this community to Ed Walker in the passing last week of his wife who was a member of Whitechurch Women's Institute for many years. Rev.'and Mrs. George Ball of Milverton were Wed- nesday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson. Last week it was erroneously reported that Theo Keet had moved to a farm at Auburn. The farm is actually in the Saltford vicinity. Mrs. Bill McInnes of the Teeswater area called Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson. Mr. Mulvey, who will retire from the Huron County Board of Education this month, was justifiably proud of . his daughter; who won several awards, including an On- tario Scholarship for attaining over 80 per cent in Grade 13. Cancer branch to hold meeing .The Wingham branch of the Canadian ('anter Society has planned a public meeting on Monday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m. This meeting is to be held in the Nursing Assistants' Training Centre on Catharine Street.
