Mr. Robinson is survived
by his wife, the former
Margaret Cunnington; one
daughter, Mrs. Stewart
(Joyce) Coupland of
Wingham; three sons, Jim,
Tom and Bill, all of
Wingham and nine grand-
children. There are two
sisters and five brothers
surviving. He was
predeceased by one sister
and two brothers.
As a young man, Mr.
Robinson worked as a
mechanic in a Walkerton
garage and then for a few
years in a car factory in
Detroit. He married in 1932
and moved to Con. 8, East
Wawanosh, where he
operated a steam engine and
threshed, crushed stone and
ran a saw millfor a number
of years.
He moved to a farm at Lot
28, Con. 11 of East Wawanosh
and worked at Craig's
Sawmill in Auburn as an
engineer until 1960. He then
worked as an engineer at
Huronview until retiring in
1969.

Friends paid their respects
at The McBurney Funeral
Home until Wednesday, Oct.
16, when service was con-
ducted by Rev. Rea Grant of
the. Wingham United Church.
He was carried to his last
resting place, the Wingham
Cemetery, by six nephews:
William Ashby, Keith
Robinson, James Taylor,
Clayton Robinson, Leonard
Robinson and Ray Robinson.
Floral tributes were carried
by eight grandchildren.
