To create mitered edges it
is best to cut rather than

a sharp blade and make a

King Edward III, son of
the unfortunate Edward III,
reigned in England from 1312
to 1377. As described in
Michael Packe's book "King
Edward III", his life was
virtually the- history of the
14th century both in England
and in France. He was the
father of the famous Ed-
ward, the Black Prince, and
many events and develop-
ments took place during his
reign. All these are recount-
ed in Michael Packe's book.
This book goes into great
detail about people and
things, describing conditions
of life as well as battles and
politics, and there are
genealogies listed in the
front of the book. In this
work you will relive the 14th
century, for the author has
done great research and
brings it to you in such detail
that it provides a whole new
mental world for the reader.

measures will be significant.
In the United States the
lowered interest rates and
continuation of government
spending, unabated by any
fiscal restraint, will provide
a lift to the economy. More-

help exports.and may reduce
imports over the next year.

strong growth, evidence of
overbuilding in the commer-
cial office sector is mount- '
ing. Capital spending by cor-
porations may fall off next
year as corporate earnings
have been disappointing and
--consumer spending -hesitant.
Confidence is a key factor
in both countries, If expecta-
tions rise, spending may in-
crease and savings rates di-
minish, Right now, confi-
dence is falling so monetary
ease is doing little to trigger
increased consumer spend-
ing.
It is likely, therefore, that
the North American .
economy at best will con-
tinue at its very sluggish
pace and it may worsen until
the external value of the U.
S. dollar declines sufficiently
to stimulate that nation's ex- `1
ports, Meanwhile, our ill-
timed tax increases seem
certain to lead to a worsened
business outlook in Canada
in 1986.
