Four young women with a musical father (Rains) have their lives altered by four young men. A sensitive • prep -school boy is tormented by the belief that he must prove his manliness. SUNDAY, 9:00 A.M.-"KING KONG". Stars Fay Wray, Bruce Cabot. A giant ape is brought to New York, boun4, chained a put on display. He escapes and climbs to the top of the Empire State Building where he is shot down by aeroplanes. SUNDAY, 12:30 A.M.-"DANCE, GIRL, DANCE". Stars Louis Hayward, Maureen O'Hare Lucille Ball. An inno- cent young girl (O'Hara) aspires to be a ballerina, but pro- tective Ball steers her toward burlesque instead. Lucy is • terrific as Bubbles. MONDAY MIDNIGHT -"YOU CAN'T GET AWAY WITH MURDER". Stars Humphrey Bogart, Billy Halop, Gale Page. A.well-acted crime tale of young Halop teaming up with gangster Bogart, and taking the rap with him in Sing Sing. TUESDAY, 1:00 A.M.-"THE PUBLIC ENEMY Stars James Caney, Jean Harlow, Mae Clarke. A prohibition, gangster's rise and fall put Cagney on the map and de- servedly so. This is the one where he smashes a grapefruit in Clarke's face. WEDNESDAY MIDNIGHT -"ANGELS WASH THEIR FACES". Starring James Cagney, Pat O'Brien, Humphrey Bogart. A superior cast in this tale of two playmates. One (Cagney) becomes a gangster, the other (O'Brien) be- comes a priest.
