This massage course offers the opportunity to learn basic techniques to ease the aches and stress of daily living. The class provides limited theory and plenty of practical experience in the ''How to's" of basic relaxation massage. It will be of particular interest to health care professionals and sports enthusi- asts who wish to enhance their skills in the proper use of basic massage within the guidelines of their own practice. It is not intended for those wishing to become professional Massage Thera- pists. This course will be taught by a Regis- tered Massage Therapist licensed by the Ontario Government. Ornithology (The Study Of Birds) S This course is designed to provide in -the -class exposure to the study of birds followed by at least one field trip. Included topics: bird biology and be- havior, species lists and habitat re- quirements as a guide to identification. Apr. 23 $35 Personal Income Tax N This course is designed for the individ- ual taxpayer, including owners .of small unincorporated businesses, who desire knowledge of , the Canadian Personal Income Tax system for the purpose of gaining skills in planning for and prep- aration of. Personal Income Tax • Re4 turns. Topics will cover those areas that most commonly affect the individu- al taxpayer and will include, sources of tax information, types of taxable and non-taxable income, deductions from taxable income, and various tax credits 36 available. Corporate Income Tax will not be covered. They will learn: the importance of keeping a journal; how to find stories and conduct research; how to find markets and query editors; how to conduct an interview; how to write, revise and' type a story, ready for submission; • and how to ,keep records of transactions. B11 REAL ESTATE PRE -REGISTRATION N Although the three' Introduction to Real Estate courses are designed for people wishing to become registered to sell real estate, they are open to anyone desiring a basic knowledge of the real estate in- dustry. You may attend courses on a part-time basis or on an intensive 6 hour per day basis. To qualify to write the examina- tion, 70% attendance is required in each segment of the course. Introduction To Real Estate SEGMENT 1 is a general introductory course containing 1D sessions. The material is of such a nature that it will at once provide information for the public and information related to the real estate business for potential registrants.
