Woodworking For Women S
This is a practical course to provide
students with basic woodworking skills
and a fundamental knowledge of the
safe operation and use of tools and
equipment used in woodworking. Stu-
dents will choose from a variety of
project drawings available. Cost of
materials is not included in course fees.
Students may attend for a maximum of
two consecutive semesters at a time.

Basic S
This beginners course is easy to write,
easy to read and deals with the basic
letter shapes in preparation for fluent
handwriting. It was developed by Alf. K.
Ebsen and the Handwriteis Guild of
Toronto and will be taught by a Guild
member.

Canadian System Of Calligraphy -
Intermediate
Prerequisite: Canadian System Of calli-
graphy - Basic.
The crowning- glory of calligraphy is its
use as fluent handwriting for everyday
use. The , Canadian System offers a
smooth transition' from the basic letter
shapes to a joined, fluent handwriting.
In addition, complementary alphabets
will be taught, and increased design
techniques.

Cartadlan System Of Calligraphy. -
Advanced S
Participants will study the Italic Alpha-
bet in both its historic and modern
forms and will be introduced to colour.
Learn to use watercolour from a dip
pen and open up a rainbow of colours
for your calligraphic use.
Please bring: Quad pads, pens, nibs,
ink. Mitchell nibs for the watercolour
will be available at the class. Approx-
imate cost of supplies $10-$12.

This basic course in drawing is de-
signed both for those • who wish to
express their ideas. on. paper and for
the. artists who wish to improve their
drawing, ability. The human figure is
used for action sketches and sustained
finished drawings as well as still life,
architecture, light and dark. and. per-
spective. Media includes conte pencil,
pen, brush and .ink, and color render-
ings. Students should bring to the first
class a sketch book, conte pencil, pen,
brush and India Ink.

Flower Arranging and Design or equiva-
lent. The Advanced course specializes
