Furniture Refinishing •S In this hands-on shop course, students learn to use the tools and materials required for finish removal, refinishing and furniture care. Plumbing For The Householder, S, Topics include: the use of metal and plastic pipes, how pumps and hot water tanks work, repairing taps, soldering and threading pipes. The objective of this course is to eliminate unnecessary repair costs. and to have the homeowner prepared in case of emergencies. Offered at: Guelph Wed, 7-10 p.m. 8 wks. Residential Wiring S Participants wilt learn .the proper in- stallation of basic electrical equipment, ro wiring, switches, outlets, boxes, lights, safety practices and codes and working in the normal house. Chicken -Scratch embroidery -Ts "worked on gingham and gives the appearance of handwoven lace. It is often used in a decorative manner on borders and hems.
