The course provides Motorcycles, fuel
and lubricants, expert instruction, writ-
ten material, and student kit.
Participants must be 16 years of age or
over. Participants under the age of 18
must have a 'Waiver of Responsibility"
form signed by their parents/guardian.

Challenge Day Motorcycle
Drivers!!
Try your skills against the approved
motorcycle driver's test at Conestoga
College. On •April 27 and 28, 1985, the
College is inviting licensed motorcycle
drivers to take the approved riding test
for obtaining a Class "M" license. The
test course will be open 1-4 p.m. both
days. •
Participants must provide the fallowing
information:
- Class "M" driver's license
- ownership of the motorcycle
- proof of liability insurance
There is no charge for this test - just
arrive with a mechanically sound motor-
cycle at our Waterloo Campus, 435 King
Street North, Waterloo.

This course be of benefit to
electrical apprentices, journeymen and
contractors who wish to upgrade them-
selves. The .course .gives an interpreta-
tion of the Ontario Electrical Safety
Code, sections ,.Q 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12,
14, 16, 18, 20, "22, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34,
36, 46, 62, 75, 76. This is not a course
for "do-it-yourselfers".

HORTICULTURE
Home Gardening Calendar S
This course outlines the various tasks
that need to be done in a home garden
throughout the seasons. Each month of
the year is reviewed and instruction is
given on maintenance, pruning, plant-
ing, etc., that is required at that, time
period. By compiling all the information
on a calendar, the home gardener will
always be reminded of the jobs to be
done, and more importantly, when to
do them.

Interior Plants S
This course will familiarize the students
with proper maintenance and care of
interior plants. Each session will in-
clude an intensive study of ten popular
houseplants highlighting conditions for
optimum plant growth and vigor. Appli-
cation of knowledge learned in the
session will be reinforced by a practical
horticultural workshop period. Also vi-
sual aids and live specimens will be
provided.

Horticulture Diploma or the Floriculture
`-Diploma from the K -W School of Horti-
culture. Students should expect to
purchase books and supplies for each
course, the amount will be specified at
the beginning of the course.

This, course is designed specifically for
students who wish to enter the career
of floriculturist.
, The following areas will be covered:
The principleof design, colour, har-
mony and balance, wiring design tech-
niques, care and handling of cut flow-
er s,
lowers, criteria needs for making
successful table arran9ements and cor-
sages, the wedding, the memorial and
special flower design modules, custom
traditions, structures and silk flower ar-
rangements.
This course is the first of four 10 week
courses totalling 240 hours. The three
remaining modules will be offered at
the conclusion of the first module if
student demand is sufficient.

planting, general Fall clean up. This is
a practical course in residential garden-
ing.
