The Optimist Club off Wallce Township is
a. -.welcome -addition- .to- this--y-ear's P -AD--..
DYFEST as they are sponsoring the ever
popular step dancing competition.
The competition will take place at
Listowel Central Public School on Binning
Street on Sunday, March 10, commencing
at 11 a.m.
Accompaniment_will be provided by Lin-
da and Jerry Smith who are well-known
for their excellence in this field.
There will be eight classes of competi-
tion consisting of five solo and three group
categories:
Sola- .eight years and under; nine -years
to 10 years; 11 years to 13 years; open;
open to over 35 years;
Group - 10 years and under; 11 years to
13 years; open.
The public is encouraged to attend this
competition to witness a highly energetic
form Of dance.

Atom hockey tourney
scheduled for March 11
The third annual Listowel Kinsmen
PADDYFEST Atom hockey tournament
begins Monday, March 11, with 12 Atom
House League teams competing for the
PADDYFEST Cup and the Tim Haines
Chev-Olds championship trophy.
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of
two games enroute to the championship
with action heating up at 8 a.m. at the
Listowel Memorial Arena.
We urge all hockey lovers to come out
and give these young fellows • lots' of en-
couragement. You just might see the next
Wayne Gretzlcy.
The Listowel Kinsmen Club's regular
Cable Bingo will appear on Country Cable,
Channel 9,*at, 8 p,m. as usual, however, the
prize pot will be sweetened to celebrate
PADDYFEST.
Meeting previously with great success,
the Listowel Kinsmen PADDYFEST Lest
Heir tournament will again beheld. legis-•
tration begins at 7 p.m..at the Kin Station
with cards starting at 7:45 p.m. sharp, The
registration fee is $6.00 per team.
