THURSDAY MIDNIGHT -`°THE BURGLARS". Stars Jean .
Paul Belmondo, Omar Sharif, Dyan Cannon. A quartet of
thieves steals emeralds with the aid of a computer. They,
are tracked down by a corrupt policeman.
FRIDAY MIDNIGHT--"OLIVER". Stars Ron Moody, Oliver
Reed, Harry Secombe. Young orphan joins a group of pick-
pockets, but when he is caught, is taken in by a wealthy
benefactor. The gang kidnaps him but he is aided in escap-
ing and returns to his benefactor who is really his uncle.
TUESDAY MIDNIGHT-"SARGEANT RYKER". Stars Lee
Marvin, Bradford Dillman, Vera Miles. Korea: Sergeant
faces court martial as a traitor. After being found guilty
and sentenced to hang, a prosecuting attorney in the Judge
Advocate's office wins him a new trial on the grounds of in-
adequate defense. After a stormy second trial the case
against Ryker is finally decided.
WEDNESDAY MIDNIGHT -"SISTER-IN-LAW". Stars
John Savage, Anne Saxon. Hippie who returns to middle
class life, finds himself inheriting some family problems.
Aside from becoming the object of his sister-in-law's af-
fections, he is mistaken for his brother and marked for
murder by a vengeful smuggling ring.

The Draft Report of Stage 2 of the Waste
Management Master Plan for The Regional
Municipality of Waterloo has now been
completed. This Report outlines several
waste management system alternatives
available to the Region for the disposal
and/or processing of solid waste for the
next twenty years. It also defines the
locations of potential landfill sites within the
Region.
Anyone interested in reviewing the results of
Stage 2, receiving additional information or
commenting on the Draft Report is invited to
attend Open Houses and Public Meetings
arranged for this purpose.

er, Paul Schofield. Based on the novel "Le Font de L'Art
by Rose Valland, about an arrogant German officer, who
attempts to move French art treasures into Germany,
hours before the armistice is declared and a French resist-
ance leader who tries to save the collection.
FRIDAY, 2:00 A.M.-"SAVAGE". Stars Martin Landau,
Barbara Bain. A TV news commentary team investigates
the moral fitness of a Supreme Court nominee.
SATURDAY, 8:00 P.M. -"FORT APACHE: THE BRONX".
Stars Paul Newman, Ed Asner. A powerful account of the
embattled 41st Police Precinct in New York's violent and
devastated South Bronx.
SATURDAY MIDNIGHT -"HOW TO MURDER YOUR
WIFE". Stars Jack Lemmon, Verna Lisi. Bachelor comic
strip artist finds that he is married to a beauty contest win-
ner, after a drinking party. And to make matters worse, his
valet walks out. His comic strip hero contemplates mur-
dering his wife and the frightened wife thinks she is the in-
spiration.
SATURDAY, 2:00 A.M.-"RUNAWAY". Stars Ben Johnson,
Ben Murphy. Passengers returningfrom a skiing weekend
discover to their horror that the train carrying them down
a snowy mountain is a brakeless runaway.
SUNDAY, 9:00 P.M. -"ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ". Stars
Clint Eastwood, Patrick McGoohan. On June 11, 1962, three
men escaped from the escape -proof maximum security
prison at Alcatraz. A massive search -was conducted for
Frank Morris; Clarence Anglin and John Anglin, but they
were never heard from again. Their escape remains the
only unresolved case in the prison's history. Clint East-
wood, Patrick McGoohan and Fred Ward star in this 1979
movie.
MONDAY MIDNIGHT -"WILD ROVERS". Stars William
Holden, Ryan O'Neal. Two cowboys, one old, one ,young,
dream of getting enough money to buy a ranch in Mexico
and retire to a life of pleasure. They decide to rob their first
and only bank and head for the border with a posse in hot
pursuit.
TUESDAY MIDNIGHT -"EDWARD, MY SON". Stars
Spencer Tracy, Deborah Kerr. Mother and father fighting
over their marriage and their son find that he has com-
mitted suicide because of them.
WEDNESDAY MIDNIGHT -"THE SUBJECT WAS
ROSES". Stars Patricia Neal, Jack Albertson. Middle
class Irish -Catholic Bronx husband and wife put aside their
differences to welcome home their son from the army, but
soon their own unhappiness begins to spill over and the son
becomes embroiled in the family's domestic crises.
