JOHN
McINNES
John and Marie McInnes of Wingham are not
strangers to the, drycleaning business. Before opening
their own business 18 years ago, John was employed at
a local drycleaning establishment.
John is a community minded fellow too. He has
been active in the Kinsmen and Lions clubs for many
years and today holds the prestigious title of Lions
Deputy District Governor.
The two McInnes girls, Corey and Heather, now are
working full-timewith their clad, as is son Bruce who
pitches in on Saturdays and after school.
The business is booming. Now Isobel Readman has
joined the staff, bringing with her many years in the
retail clothing business and expertise in repairs and
alterations.

Festival Singers offer
a Christmas concert
Christmas just wouldn't be
Christmas without Christ-
mas music. And for many
people in this area, part of
the Christmas tradition is to
enjoy the rich and varied
selection of Christmas music
presented each year by the
Blyth'Festival Singers.
This year the concert will
be held at Blyth Memorial
Hall on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3
p.m. and 8 p.m.
Again the choir will be
presenting a varied reper-
toire of music for the Christ-,
mas season, including well-
known songs like "Sleigh
Ride", the unusual "Bag-
piper's Carol" and the haunt-
ingly beautiful arrange-
ments of John Rutter and
4ayid• Willcocks.
Audiences who in the past
so enjoyed the Exeter Public
School Junior Choir will be
pleased to know that this
excellent group of young
singers, directed by Mrs.
Joan Perrie, will again be
part of the concert. They will
perform alone, as well as
with the adult choir."
Following the traditional
format of previous years, the
Festival Singers are looking
forward to joining the
audience in sing-alongs of
well-known carols. A brass
quartet and two flutists will
complete the special con-
cert.
The audience will be in-
vited to join the choir after
the concert for hot cider and
cookies. Tickets are
available from choir
members or the box office
(523-9300) or the Blyth Saga
(523-4331).

DENTURE WEARERS
Did you know that it is im-
portant to have your dentures
examined regularly? Your
mouth is one of the most im-
portant areas of yours body,
but often the most neglected
when dentures are worn. Im-
properly fitting or neglected
dentures can cause severe
health problems. The lack of
public information regarding
dentures is alarming and
often leads to problems and
unnecessary expense. Your
local denture therapist (den-
turist) is a professional
specializing in the construc-
tion, repair and modification
of dentures and provides this
service directly to the public.
If you have problems with
your present dentures or
think of getting new ones,
see your local denture
therapist, consultation is
usually free. You will find
denture therapists (den-
turists) listed in the yellow
pages. This information is
supplied through the Den-
turist Association of Ontario
and your Local therapist.
