Howard, Robert Foxworth. used on a factual book by
Paige Mitchell. A young Polish -American construction
worker is indicated for murder in the mercy killing of his
critically ill brother. "Act of Love" explores the meaning
of life for an American familyand for an attorney, Andrew
Rose, committed to defending a self-confessed killer.
FRIDAY MIDNIGHT-"TENSPEED AND BROWN SHOE".
Starring Ben Vereen, Jeff Goldblum. Ben Vereen stars as a
fast -talking fast-moving con man, and Jeff Goldblum as a
daydreaming stockbroker who form an uneasy alliance as
the wildest and funniest pair of private eyes that find them-
selves in the midst of the craziest cases the streets of Los
Angeles has ever seen in this hair-raising action movie.

Susan Anspach, Jennifer Jason Leigh. A young girl leaves
high school to follow the young man in her life to San Diego

Deborah Baffin plays January, the beautiful daughter of

mary force in her life. When Douglas marries the richest

world that is peopled by the beautiful neurotic jet -setters
who set their own standards and live by their own rules.

Glenn Corbett, Susanna Dalton. A former U.S. Intelligence
agent handpicks three top stunt people because of their
ability to perform incredible death -defying feats.
SUNDAY, 9:00 P.M. -"THE BARON AND THE KID". Star-
ring Johnny Cash, Claude Akins. Johnny Cash, portrays a
legendary pool hustler now reformed and playing in tour-
naments, who learns that the new young people sensation is
his son. The Baron's wife had left him years ago. Since the
young man is involved in small-time hustling, the Baron at-
tempts to forge a relationship with him to help him get on
the right track.

lations writer refuses to admit that he is an -alcoholic, he

series based on Joe McGinniss' best-selling book about the
sensational case of Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald; played by
Gary Cole, the former Green Beret physician charged by
the army, then cleared of murdering his wife and two
daughters in February, 1970. Karl Malden and Eva Marie
Saint star as Freddy and Mildred Kassab, who first support
him, then doubt his innocence. Barry Newman and Andy
