Handy is a continuation of
past work in sculpture and
painting. The current sub-
ject is of • an erotic nature;
however, the content deals
with the psychology of visual
perception. Handy's main
concern in 30 years of work
has been an exploration of
how we see things, il-
lustrated in both two-
dimensional and three-
dimensional pieces of art.

"The Mystery of the Bog
Forest" is a title that sounds
like a novel for juveniles.
Actually, this book by Lorus
J. Milne and his wife Mar-
gery is a factual scientific
book on bogs. It contains an
explanation as to what bogs
are and how they have 'been
formed.
It is verylucid writing and
is a fascinating description
of plant and insect life in
bogs, with many illwstra-
tions. At the end are lists of
animals and plants to be
found in peat bogs of
America.
