N is -Erik Holgers- son and family at Skar- blacka, 200 kilometres south of Stockholm. She also visit- ed in Belgium with Carl Bailey who also is on the rotary exchange program. Other countries visited were Norway, Finland and Den- mark. Cheryl is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Busby. Deanne and Ralph Dickson have returned from an en- joyable overseas holiday. On tour in Europe, they visited France, Switzerland, Ger- many, the Netherlands and Belguim. They also spent some time in England and Scotland. An open-air service for the F. E. BRUSSELS — The Ma- jestic Women's Institute held an old-fashioned quilting party recently I which lasted five days. The party was held to complete the WI's bicentennial quilt. People from the community were invited to come and add a few stitches to the quilt. The Institute also held a display of old and new quilts during' the Brussels, Morris and Grey bicentennial celebrations the first weekend in July. - Several people donated antiques for the window display which captured first prize. Tickets were ,sold for a bicentennial quilt, designed and donated by Leona Arm- streng and an afghan made by the WI ' president, Mrs. Peggy Cudmore. • - At the final performance of "The Farm Show" held during the bicentennial celebrations, the town crier drew the name of the winner, Mrs. Kenneth Moore of Egmondville.
