The minutes of the November meeting were accepted as read by the secretary, Mrs. Robert Peck. Mrs. Thomas Haggitt reputed that the dessert spoons had been pur- chased and the members decided to again sponsor the spring 4-H club - Your Corner of the World. Mrs.. Donald Cartwright and Mrs. John Hildebrand will be leaders. A thank -you note was received from the Family and Children's Services for the donation of $29 to assist with Christmas giving. Mrs. Lillian Letherland gave her card report and read thank you notes received, She had delivered the Christmas cards to the shut-ins and paid them a visit. Nearly 40 ladies and one gentleman were served a Christmas lunch around a small decorated 'table. The lucky cup was held by Mrs. David Scott, the lucky plate by Mrs. Beth Lansing and the lady with the r newest permanent was Mrs. Arnold Craig. LIONS CLUB A brightly decorated Christmas tree and other decorations made a good setting for the annual Christmas party spon- sored by the Auburn and District Lions Club. Lion- president, Bill Rober• son, welcomed all and yished all the childr. A, a good time.' Donald Haines operated the projector for the film, Charlotte's Web, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, The Gift and Pups is Pups. The films had been obtained by Stephen Campbell and Al Luna." Between the films, carol singing was led by Mrs. James Schneider with Mrs. Fred Lawrence as pianist. To the song, Here Comes Santa Claus, Santa appeared and talked to the children and then gave out bags of candy to over 75 children.
