Janet Sherratt Grade 3 St. Mary's School ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS If I could only have one gift for Christmas it would have to be a Grade eight, diploma. At least my parents wouldn't be ableto complain about how expensive it is because all there is to a diploma is a piece of paper with ink and some fancy words. The best part about a diploma is they're no wires, batteries or fid- dling around with it trying to get it to work. The only thing that could go wrong with my diploma is • that I'll probably spend the rest of my life in Grade nine! Terry Bean Colberne Central Grade 8, Age 13 THE FUNNIEST CHRISTMAS Last Christmas was one Christmas I'll never forget. My family and I went up North to Healey lake with our two new snow machines. We got up two our cabin the night before Christmas my sister and I were talking together in. the back seat of the car. Tammy said what if Santa forgets us because we are not home we are up in the cabin. I began to wonder so I asked my Mother. She said -Santa- doesn't forget boys and girls if they are good. We were awakened the` next morning by the sun shining through the curtains, We rushed to the fireplace, where our stockings were hanging. There were our presents. We had a big Christmas dinner then spent the rest of the day on the trails through the hush That goes to show you, boys and girls, if your good Santa will come to you no matter where you ,go. Thank you Santa and Morn and Dad. Danny Gibbons Holmesville School Dear Santa, I would like a toy motorcycle. PHIL MAIN HARDWARE e4 KINGSTON GODERICH 524-9671 Rescue cattle with motorbike If I had a choice of any gift in the world it would be a motor -cycle. I would choose this because where I live its hilly and it is hard to ride a bike up hills. I would also want a motor -bike because then when our cattle get out I can go to the rescue on my motor -bike. I forgot to tell you what kind. I would like to get a Susuki 100 RM semi -dirt. I like the buzing sound of those motor -cycles. Thats what I would like for a Christmas gift. Christine Stapleton St. Joseph, Kingsbridge Age: 12 BILLY'S SAD CHRISTMAS Last Christmas there was a boy named Billy and he did not feel that well in the morning.
