Won t make the same mistake twice
Johnny Porter was a
boy of thirteen and he
loved to spend money.
Everytime he got any bit
of money a dollar, quater,
nickle or anything he
usually spent it. All
through the summer and
into the fall Johnny kept
spending his money
himself.
As the months began to
get colder Johnny
realized that Christmas
would soon be coming
soon. He had to begin to
save his money for
presents for his two
brothers and two sisters
and parents. Johnny
began to save his
allowance, save money
from odd jobs. The
money began to build up.
As the weeks began to
pass and the money grew
more and more, the
temptation to spend got
greater and greater, He
thought of all the models
he could buy and movies
he could see. He only
thought of himself.
When the temptation
was finally too great, ever had (eccept for last ' A hockey puck.
