Later that day I talked
to Jake and found he had
a great idea called the
"old trade -away inflation
trick." All I had to do was
take one third of the toys I
had and trade them for
twice as many items in
Japan. Jake suggested
trading Indian and
Eskimo dolls for watches
and' calculators.
The next day I went to
Japan to trade. After
negotiations I loaded the
sleigh and headed home.
I could see the children of
India and Spain wave to
me. Everywhere children
were waving. Finally we
got home and just in time
to reloadthe sleigh:

Debts paid six years 'later
Mrs. Black had five
children whom she
spoiled too much. She
paid for everything by
checks and by cash.
By time November
came she didn't have
enough money, all she
had was ten dollars in her
purse. She had a charge
account which she does
like to use.. She had so
many gifts to buy it cost
her seven hundred
dollars for what she
bought.
At Christmas the
children were very
happy. That summer the
mother had to pay off her
debts were seven
hundred dollars.
The children were
dressed in nice clean
clothes and their mother
was dressed in rags.
And the debts got paid
off six years later,, •
