Cat ,jumps in punch
One Christmas my cat
was on the chair. My
mom and I made punch. I
set it on the table.
Everybody sat down. My
Uncle. Jin almost sat on
the cat. The cat jumped
on the table and looked in
the punch bowl. He saw
something. It was just his
shadow and he tried to
get it. He stuck his head
in a spilt the howthing.
Everybody laughed I
didn't think it was funny
because I had to clean the
floor and the cat.

Santa
Solves it
"Oh dear", sighed
Santa, "here it is already
6, o'clock and I still
haven't figured out how
to give that child ,her
present.
About three weeks
before Christmas Santa
received a letter. This is
what it said.
Dec. 3, 1979
Dear Santa,
I am the youngest of a
large family. Everyone
(but niy parents and I)
has moved away from
home. They have gone all
over the world and some
can't get home for
Christmas. All I want for -
Christmas is, for all of
them to come: home. I
really want to see them
.all again.
Yours truly,
Colleen
"I don't know how to
answer this letter," Santa
explained.
• "Well, you could just
miss her this year,"
suggested his wife.
"I can't do that," he
exclaimed, "it's shirking
my responsibility!"
"Why don't you make
something go wrong so
they HAVE to come
home?" offered an eif.
"But then everyone
would be worried and not
in the joyful Christmas
mood," he replied.
"Why don't you put
them in a dream about
coming home?" said a
very quiet and thoughtful
mouse.
"Hey that's it," ex-
claimed Santa, "they can
dream they came
home!"
Santa made the trip
that night sure of himself
and whistling a happy
tune. In the morning
there were many who had
a very enjoyable and
exciting dream.

HUNK OF COAL
FOR CHRISTMAS
On the 23 my mother
said if I didn't stop
picking on my brother I
wouldn't get anything for
Christmas except a hunk
of coal. Two days later on
Christmas, I got a couple
pieces of coal I also got
something as heavy as a
brick. But it was only
some books.

WHEN I WAS
IN THE HOSPITAL
FOR CHRISTMAS
When I slammed my lip
in the door of the car, I
was rushed down to the
hospital. And what do you
know, I had to stay there_.
for the Chistmas holiday.
I had a lonesome week.
Then on the Chistmas my
morn brought me a doll.
But in the end, it was the
best for me.

Baby laid in fresh hay
A long lime ago in
Nazareth a woman
named Mary was
working in her garden
when an angel appeared.
The angel told Mary that
she was to have a son and
to name her son Jesus.
When the angel went
away Mary went to her
cousin Elizabeth for three
months. When she
reached her cousin's
house she could feel her
baby leap inter stomach.
After the three months
were over she went back
to her house.
Mary and Joseph got
married a week ori more
after.
When Caesar Augustus
made a request that the
people of Nazareth go to
Bethlehem to be taxed-. So
Joseph packed up the
donkey and headed for
Bethlehem.
When they reached
Bethlehem they were
very tired. There was, an
inn in Bethlehem. So
Mary and Joseph went
there. When they got
there they knocked on the
door. The innkeeper
answered the door.
Joseph asked if they
could have a room. The
innkeeper said no! The
inn is full and slammed
the doo Vit.. hut.
So Jeph went to find
shelter ` for them.. He
found a little stable. So he
brought Mary there. In
the night while Joseph
was asleep, Mary lay
awake. Joseph woke up
and found that his wife
was just to have her
baby. So he went to get
some fresh hay to put in
the manger. When the
manger was fresh Jesus
was born.
A year or two after
Jesus was born some
shepherds came to
worship Jesus.
And thats what
Christmas is all about.
The End.
