`Go Trough Door''
It was a day before
Christmas when I was in
my room, thinking what
time should I wake to see
Santa. I was only 4"years
old, and I wanted to see
how handsome Santa
was.
Then suddenly, I said,
"Oh No ! " H -How is Santa
going to fit in the chim-
• ney. He'll be stuck and
he'll won't be able to get
to the other children.
I had to think of
something real fast to
warn Santa.
I suggested to make a
sign saying "Go Through
Door'. I put it on the
chimne.y hoping he will
see it. And I left him a
glass of milk, cookies.and
carrots for his reindeers.
. Later I went to bed at
8:3.0 hoping he won't get
stuck and hoping he'll see
the sign. I never woked
' up to see how handsome
he, is. In the morning I ran
down the stairs, he ate all
the cookies and drank all
the milk, and the rein
deers ate the carrots. So I
guess he went through the
door instead the chimney.
I went in the house and
open my presents and
look in my Christmas
stocking, there was a
little Santa Claus doll.

THE SAD DREAM
On the night before
Christmas I was thinking
so hard that I couldn't fall
asleep, and then a few
hours later I fell a s -1 -e -e -
p. I was dreaming that on
Christmas day I 'went
racing downstairs and in
the living room there it
was bare no presents no
nothing.
I then dreamed that I
was yelling for Mom and
Dad to come downstairs.
Then Mom and Dad came
ttracing down the steps
and we all gathered
around the Christmas
tree.
I then couldn't face it,
-so I -ran up to my ,room
andslammed the door.
BANG! My Dad came
upstairs to explain it to
me he said that I was a
bad girl this year and
Santa didn't , bother to
come. .So I wiped my
tears and walked
downstairs to get break-
fast.
As I was ,reaching for
the cereal I noticed that
the ground, it wasn't
white it was green and
that's why Santa didn't
come because there
wasn't enough snow on
the roof to land on. This
year it .was a Green
Christmas also a sad
dream. When I woke up I:
went downstairs to see if
Santa came. And he did
come I was. so happy
because the biggest
present was-fot me and
guess what it was it was
the game STOP THIEF
and thats exactly what I
wanted. Lori Thompson,

The real meaning -of Christmas is Jesus
The night before
Christmas Sally was
sitting infront of the
fireplace staring into the
flames. She was tired
from decorating the tree,
when she asked this
question, "Daddy what is
the real meaning of
Christmas? I know all
about decorating the tree
and getting presents from
Santa, but there has to be
more to it than that!
What is the real
meaning?"
"Well honey I can
remember my grand-
mother telling me
this...There was a young
couple going to their
hometown Bethlehem,
they didn't have cars,
buses or planes, or
anything like that to
travel in I they had to
travel on one donkey, so
their journey was long
and hard. Mary was
sitting on the donkey, she
couldn't walk because
she was going to have a
baby "soon, and Joseph
walked beside the donkey
and led it. When they
came to Bethlemen they
went to a Inn, but it was
full. Joseph said that his
wife was going to have
, her baby soon. The
Innkeeper said that they
could stay in the stable
where there was clean
straw. Joseph gladly
thanked the Innkeeper
and led the donkey and
Mary to the stable."
"Mary had her baby
that night, the most
important" baby ever
born. Christ Jesus , the
Saviour of the world. And
to welcome Baby -Jesus
were angel from heaven
singing and praising
Him. Shepherds came to
the stable when the
angels told them the
Saviour was born, just to
see Baby -Jesus," was
part of Daddy's reply.
"Did they always live
the stable, Daddy?"
asked Sally.
"Of course not! Would
you like to live in a
barn?" teased Daddy.
"No! Just go on with
the story!" said Sally
near to tears.
"O.K. They moved to a
house. About a year or so
after Jesus' birth some
wise men came to their
house to see Jesus. They
gave Him . presents of
gold, franincense, and
myrrh. After a while they
left and went home."
Daddy went on.
"You see Christmas is
not all Santa and gifts, it
is Jesus' birthday!" was
Daddy's reply.
"Daddy, I just thought
of something, since Jesus
was so poor I'll give him
all my presents!" said
Sally excitedly.
"I wish we could honey,
but we can't because
Jesus died for our sins,
He then went to heaven.
But we can give him our
love, our time, and
ourselves." was Daddy's
answer
"I'm glad I now know
the real meaning of
Christmas! I'm going to
give Jesus all my love!"
said Sally as she gave he
Daddy a big hug.
