CHURCH NEWS
Last. Saturday,
December 15 was, a
special evening for
Benmiller United Church
members when they
observed family night
with the Sunday School
Christmas party.
There was a splendid
crowd of parents and
children and friends who
gathered at the supper
hour to enjoy the
delicious pot -luck supper
and the friendship that
certainly was
everywhere.
After the supper
everyone enjoyed the
Sunday school Christmas
concert which is always a
treat. The children love to
take part and welcome
Santa who always arrives
in time to hand out
something for the
children, in this instance
it was an apple and an
orange, and receive a
gift, be it ever so small.
When the evening was
over and folk were
wending their way home,
one could hear "Merry
Christmas and a Happy
New Year", echoed from
ail directions.
