The Goderich Post
Office will be closed on
December 25 and 26 and
January 1. There will be
no receipt, dispatch or
delivery of mail on those
days, says Postmaster,
Mel Farnsworth.
And while speaking of
the post office, it is also a
good time to mention that
customers should" keep
their premises free of
hazards to prevent letter
carriers from injuring
themselves.
Every winter letter
carriers are injured,
some of them seriously,
by slips and falls. The
best way to avoid these
accidents is to eliminate
slippery surfaces around
your home.
Please keep your walk,
steps and porch free of
snow and ice --use a non-
skid paint next time your
steps need touching up --
and if you really want to
roll out the carpet, make
it non -slip.

Your letter carrier
